As if 2020 was itty bitty enough, on New Year’s Eve I heard the news that the Metalfaced Villain had slipped quietly back into the darkness from whence he came.

I’ve loved NYC Hip Hop since LL and P.E. populated my all too vivid tween imagination. 

But it’s not my music to make. It rightly belongs to the 5 Boroughs and their dank colonies.

The Lemon  CURD

I have never really related to the big ego lyrics of so much bad wrap. 

So in the days after I heard of his passing I, somewhat unconsciously, started writing a kind of self-dis track about MF. A punk puke poem bestowing honour on the Jungian prince of Hip Hop. 

The other tracks are the pandemic fever dreams of DE4D – a tribute from beyond the underworld, across the sea.
