It's hard to stress enough how detrimental to recover from complex trauma it is to be unstable in your housing and routine. I feel like I've been through this so many time with young people, yet at the end of the day I get to go back to my nice suburban house with my nice suburban family. My clients all to often don't and the costs are only now starting to be measured.
