New Illumination
I attended a course this morning, NDIS: Adapting Your Business (Nowra) organised by Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre.
The first thing I learnt was that my business is way too hard to explain.
The second thing I learnt is that I've been focusing too much on what on what I do and not enough on the customer experience (CX).
The third thing I learnt, or perhaps just realised, is that thing 1 is beating on thing 2... and that isn't really how the story ought to go.
Partly I want a simpler, more descriptive website. But that's an 'I do' thing. I also want to be clearer about some of the big ideas that inform my work, because I care about them and they matter. Really what I want is for the customer to experience the connection I make between my creative and community work.
